About the Omni EMS Billing Team

Buff Farrow

Executive Director

Buff brings a diverse background of management and marketing from his 20 years with Omni EMS Billing. He works hard to ensure the staff has the resources and clear directives necessary to deliver a superior product. He graduated from U.C.L.A. with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in History. He was a three-time All-American in tennis and has chaired or served on numerous professional tennis committees for the USTA in the past 16 years. Buff also stays busy chasing after his teenage son, Palmer, who is very active in sports.

Christine Harlan

Director of Staff Performance and Training 

Christine was a Master Sargent of Information Systems Technology in the U.S. Air Force and traveled the world for over 22 years training US and Joint Forces in communications equipment and software. She then moved on to becoming the insurance billing lead at KU Med in Kansas for 6 years before coming to work at Omni EMS Billing. Christine trains our staff on our software and unique processes, as well as ensuring that all interfaces between the client, Omni, the clearinghouse, and insurances are working smoothly.

Grant Helferich

Director of Client Performance and Training

Grant has 34 years of prehospital care experience including 24 years as a prehospital administrator. Grant is very involved in local, state and national EMS and EMS reimbursement issues. His experience includes EMS budget preparation, Medicare and Medicaid billing issues, and EMS staffing and status management. Grant is a member of the Southcentral Kansas Region III EMS council, Southcentral Kansas Incident Management team, Kansas Major Emergency Response Group (MERGe) and a member of the Kansas EMS Association (KEMSA) and Administrators society.

John Quinlan

Chief Information Officer

John has extensive healthcare experience as a consultant and I.T. manager.  For more than 20 years, John has provided superior customer service to physician practices and clients throughout the Midwest.  He graduated from Kansas State University and is a MBA graduate of the University of Notre Dame du Lac.  John is also a practicing C.P.A.
